Here's a summary of the activities over the past 24 hours: Last night we had folks working on the flier; today we had help from Progressive Cheverly in printing fliers and delivering them. Volunteers reached out to area businesses and posted updates to the blog and Facebook. Residents contacted their representatives and received updates from both Senator Harrington and Delegate Ramirez. The first wave of fliering at the Cheverly metro station started this afternoon, with more to follow.
Thank you to everyone who has assisted in this effort--what a great Cheverly outpouring of energy! Let's keep going through April 5, the last day for public comment!
Please join me tomorrow at 5:30 at the Cheverly metro station for the rally and pictures, followed by the public hearings!
The flier can be downloaded here--thanks to Progressive Cheverly.
