WMATA's 2020 proposed budget completely closes the Cheverly Metro Station, along with 18 other stations, and cuts all weekend service

2020 proposed budget cuts include closing Cheverly metro station

In true 2020 fashion, WMATA is again suggesting closing stations for
budgetary reasons, including Cheverly.
